Face lift
A face lift (rhytidectomy) is a cosmetic surgery to make your face look younger. This method can reduce sagging or wrinkles on the face, cheeks and jawline and other changes in your face that occur with age.
During a facelift, a flap of skin is pulled back from each side of the face and the tissues beneath the skin are surgically altered to return the facial contour to its most youthful state. Before the end of the surgery, the excess skin is removed.
Neck lift (platysmaplasty) is often performed as part of a facelift to reduce fat deposits and sagging skin in the neck area.
A facelift does not reduce fine lines or sun damage. With other beauty procedures, you can improve the appearance or quality of your skin.
